RIO CLARO 12 hours

Rio claro is a private nature reserve. Not only is the river stunning and the views spectacular, there's also a great deal of activities for you to get involved in. It has been voted by Colombians as one of the country's most beautiful rivers. It's the place to go if you've ever dreamed of escaping city life for something all together more peaceful; swimming or sailing in the rivers surrounded by nothing but trees.

One of the best things you can do in Rio Claro is to explore the area and enjoy swimming in the clear waters of the river, hiking in the rainforest, caving, rafting, zip lining.

The caving is one of the most popular activities on offer. Although it's still easy. you will need to jump, swim and prepare to get very wet.

Rafting is also popular. The rout is more or less calm the entire journey and you'll get to see some stunning scenery along the way.

HACIENDA NAPOLES 10-12 hour

The ‘Hacienda Nápoles’ is located in the municipality of Puerto Triunfo – Antioquia, 180 km from Medellín. This was the country residence of the famous drug lord Pablo Escobar. Today it is one of the country’s largest theme parks. Reconstructed of what remained after its abandonment, today there are some remains of the main house, a collection of cars from the 20s and an airplane landing strip. There is also a large animal population living on the land of the hacienda, which from the start was one of its greatest attractions. When it belonged to Escobar, the hacienda had more than 1,500 animal species. Thanks to the rehabilitation work on the hacienda, it was accomplished to preserve various species of animals. Currently in Nápoles it is possible to find a large aquarium, a beautiful butterfly house, a community of hippos, elephants, and different families of birds and other species.
